Create your own Vision Board!!!  This is a collage of images, pictures, and affirmations designed to serve as an inspiration to help motivate you to obtain your goals.  On Thursday, January 9th at 6 PM at the Community Service Center Alethea Price, Boyle County Extension Office, will lead this activity.  Supplies will be provided.  What a great way to start off the New Year!  You MUST register in advance for this activity - Contact Gwen Campbell 859-324-5720 if you would like to participate.
Employment Services are offered each Tuesday from 1:30 PM-3:30 PM.  Residents may obtain assistance filling out job applications, creating a resumé, and become connected with local employers.  Residents also may obtain information about how to obtain a vehicle through  Goodwill's “ Cars to Work” Program during this time.  For more information contact Gwen Campbell @ 859-324-5720 or Erica Sluder of Goodwill Industries, @ 859-556-0069.
The Computer Lab is open each Wednesday from 1:30 PM-4:00 PM with the exception of January 1st when it will be closed for the New Year holiday.  Residents have access to free internet, printing, copying, or fax machine.  If you would like to use the lab outside of open hours, contact Gwen Campbell.
The Food Pantry and Clothing Closet are open the last two Mondays of each month – January 20 and January 27—from 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM for our residents.  If you have a food emergency or would like to have access to clothing outside of open hours, contact Gwen Campbell.
Other information
Do you know that residents of public housing are eligible to obtain a FREE government issued cell phone??  Contact Gwen Campbell to learn more about this benefit, or if you would like assistance in filling out the necessary internet application.
