Public Housing Rent Collection Reminder

  • Rent is due the first day of the month, there is a grace period for paying rent until the fifth of each month. No partial payments accepted.
  • The designated location for rent payment is Farmers National Bank.
  • Rent that is not paid at Farmers National Bank by the fifth of the month must be paid at the Administrative Office at 1014 Rosemont Avenue, Danville, Kentucky.
  • A late fee of $25.00 will be charged if payment is not made by the end of office hours on the fifth day of the month.
  • A 14-day Notice to Vacate will be issued to the resident for failure to pay rent.

To report damages or request repairs during daytime hours, please call our Administrative Office at 859.236.6116, or submit it online - maintenance work order form.

Staff will be conducting in-person pest control according to the above schedule.

Staff will be checking for preventative maintenance, housekeeping and infestation issues.

Therefore, all rooms will be observed.

If an infestation is suspected, contact the Administrative Office immediately.

Maintenance After-Hour Emergency List - Residents should ONLY call maintenance if any of the following emergencies are present in your home:

  • No heat when the temperature is below 45 degrees
  • No air conditioning when the temperature is above 85 degrees outside (calls after 6:00 PM will be serviced the next day)
  • Smoke Alarm is not working
  • Total outage of refrigerator
  • A stopped-up toilet if unit has only one bathroom
  • Water leak flooding the apartment (does not include dripping faucets)
  • Power Outage in unit
  • Fire (call 911 first)
  • Unable to secure exterior door
  • Entire window is broken out
  • Fire alarm at high-rise apartments
  • Exposed electrical wires
  • Gas leaks (call 911 first)
  • Resident locked out of apartment

If your request is not on this list, please contact the Administrative Office during working hours to submit a maintenance work order.


HAD Family Self-Sufficiency

HAD Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) is a program that helps people get back on track with their employment and educational goals. HAD FSS also puts money in a savings account to be used to pursue homeownership or other goals when participants successfully graduate from the program. Program participants receive help from the HAD FSS coordinator to find the resources they need to meet their goals.

Who joins HAD FSS?

Any Housing Authority of Danville resident who wants to improve their family's financial situation.

What will the HAD FSS program do for you?

  • Employment Coaching
    • Partner with our FSS Coordinator to:
      • Determine your work or career path;
      • Explore job options;
      • Find resources to meet challenges - step by step;
      • Begin your employment journey;
      • Accomplish your educational goals with ease and support
  • Financial Coaching
    • Develop a financial fitness plan
    • Assist you in reviewing and understanding your credit report and develop a plan for you to improve your credit score
  • Escrow Account
    • When receiving rental assistance, as your income goes up your rent goes up. As a member of the FSS program, when your rent is increased due to an earned income increase, we will deposit money into an escrow account for you. You can use this money to help you reach your goals!

Food Resources

Mobile Food Pantry Delivery - If you are a shut-in resident without transportation and would like to be added to our delivery list, please call by June 18th. Deliveries will take place on Monday, June 26th. 

Residents with transportation can arrange to visit our two on-site food pantries, Toombs Court and McIntyre Circle. Please remember to call and make an appointment before coming.
