The Housing Authority of Danville Launches New Responsive Website!

The Housing Authority of Danville launched our new responsive website in May 2025. The website was created by Brooks Jeffrey Marketing, Inc.

The new "responsive" website allows users to easily navigate the website no matter what device is used to view the website (desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone).

To help make this new website more accessible for all users (including those using adaptive technology), it has been built using Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 to address the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility guidelines.

Some of the features/functions on the new website include:

• Communities Map - an interactive embedded Google map including public housing properties at the Housing Authority of Danville, the HA office, and schools in the area.
• Forms - forms available for users to complete and submit online.
• News Archives - feeds on the home page for a quick review of the three latest news articles posted on the site with a page including all previous News entries that may be sorted/filtered.
• Sticky Footer - important information that can be easily navigable by users on all website pages, including links to apply online, visit the resident portal, call the office, and visit the Facebook page.
• Additional Pages - includes information on Board of Commissioners, Business Opportunities, Employment Opportunities, Housing Programs, Procurement Opportunities, Residents, Staff, and more.

All residents and the general public are encouraged to visit the website. Website administrators will be able to publish important information, including upcoming events, news, and more. The new website will be updated continually, often weekly, with new information that will benefit all residents and the public at large.
