Mission and Vision

The Housing Authority of Danville (HAD) has been serving the Danville/Boyle County area since 1950.

HAD assists eligible very low and low income families by providing opportunities for affordable housing in eleven neighborhoods through the public housing program.

HAD administration, community organizations, and community partners help give community residents access to social, educational, wellness and recreational opportunities.

Mission

The mission of the Housing Authority of Danville is to cost effectively assist eligible very low and low income families by providing opportunities for affordable housing and socioeconomic advancement in a discrimination-free environment; and to affirmatively address the physical needs of the Authority’s housing developments to ensure a decent, safe, and sanitary environment for employees and residents.
